Our Lady of Guadalupe
Faith & Community Group

"So then we are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones and members of the household of God ...in Him you are also being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit." Eph 2:19, 22

Our Lady of Guadalupe Faith & Community Group offers a way for parishioners to form and live a life of Christian community together, in the power of the Holy Spirit, under the Lordship of Jesus Christ through a charismatic experience. This is fostered through:

  • An awareness of the reality and presence of Jesus Christ as Lord of our life
  • An openness to the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit helping us to increase
in holiness in all areas of our life
  • Responding to God speaking through Scripture and the Church
  • Experiencing a deeper reality of the Sacraments
  • Commitment to gatherings with praise and worship, talks, children’s
activities, small group sharing and prayer support
  • Deepening our personal prayer life
  • Fostering relationships as brothers and sisters in the Lord based on
commitment rather than convenience, and service rather than self-
centeredness (recognizing that our family is our primary community and
also seeing the need to serve the larger community)
  •  Experience support to persevere in our Faith within a culture that tends to
pull us away from God’s Kingdom
  • Responding to the Lord’s call to evangelization because we have personally
experienced God’s goodness and want to share that with others (especially to
    our own children)

We gather one Saturday evening a month for a Potluck dinner/fun night & two Sun. afternoons a month. Sunday gatherings include praise and worship, sharings, snacks, children's activities, small group sharing and prayer support. All parishioners of all states in life (married, singles, empty nesters, etc,) and all ages are invited. Families are encouraged to come together. (We do not intend to separate families on Sundays.) Come and see if you want to join us as we grow in and support one another in our faith within a culture that tends to pull us away from His Kingdom of Love.
