FASTING & ABSTINENCE

Catholics in good health ages 18 to 59 are required to fast and to abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Fasting consists of eating only one meal, with the possibility of two smaller snacks that do not add up to a singel full meal.

Catholics age 14 and older are to abstain from meat on all Fridays in Lent.

 

AYUNO Y ABSTINENCIA

Catolicos de buena salud enre 18 y 59 años deben ayunar y abstenerse de la carne el Miercoles de Ceniza y el Viernes Santo.

El ayuno consiste en comer solo una comida, con la posibilidad de dos aperativos mas pequeños que no suman una sola comida completa.

Catolicos de 14 años o mas deben abstenerse de comer carne todos los viernes durante la Cuaresma.
